Maria Fontana, Curriculum Lead and Trip Leader
 Maria Fontana currently teaches at Islander Middle School and is a master educator having taught every age from elementary through graduate school in her 25 plus years of education. She has led trips with GV since 2004. She has written integrated curriculum for Field Museum of Chicago, two school districts and is Curriculum Lead for Global Visionaries’ Global Leadership Class Program. She has lectured across the country on middle school integrated curricula. She plays guitar, marimba, trombone and is mother to Tommy and Azucena. She has traveled across Europe, Australia, Mexico, Central America and has lived in Santiago, Chile. |
