  • Earthcorps (EC)
    Earthcorps designs and leads our Earthcorps Work Team in protecting Seattle green spaces and in teaching about environmental justice while helping with environmental restoration.

Global Leadership Course Curriculum and Advocacy Support

  • Facing The Future (FTF)
    FTF provides curriculums and lesson plans which make up the foundation of the Global Leadership course and Leadership Program curriculum.
  • University of Washington Guatemala Project
    UWGP provides curriculum and resources for our participants specific to Guatemala.
  • Mandala Center for Change
    Mandala directs the "train the trainers" workshops for our Pro Justice Youth Board team to enable them to then train our 1st Year participants about undoing oppression.
  • One World Now!
    One World Now! includes our participants in their Get Global! Annual Conference.
  • Global Washington
    GW provides advocacy in the arena of promoting global education on a state wide level.
  • Youth Venture
    Youth Venture supports Youth Board projects and initiatives. Youth Venture invests in teams of young people to design and launch their own lasting social ventures, enabling them to have this transformative experience of leading positive social change. Youth Venture helps the Venturers through this process of designing and launching their ventures, providing guidance, how-to's, and a process for designing and pitching a venture idea.
  • New Road Map Foundation
    NRMF has assisted in adapted their Expendable Income curriculum to our youth audience.
  • 98% of Puget Sound GV participants attend these high schools

    Guatemala Partner Organizations

    • Espresso de Esperanza
      EdE, a youth founded and run Coffee Roasting Company, is the result of direct support from Global Visionaries. Five incredible youth run this fast-growing company. EdE collaborates with our students on the Coffee Work Team and provide our participants with the coffee to fuel our best fundraiser!
    • Common Hope
      CH's Grupo Interes (Youth Group) participants collaborate on our International Work Teams.
    • Hospital y Obras Sociales del Hermano Pedro
      GV participants on the Hospital Work Team volunteer at Obras Sociales where over 50% of all patients are homeless; the hospital strongly depends on donations and volunteer efforts to carry out their mission.
    • The Mayor of Pastores (La Municipalidad de Ciudad Vieja - El Alcalde y su corporación)
      Miguel Lopez, in his second term as Mayor of Pastores, collaborates closely with GV as we build school rooms in rural Pastores. The municipality provides 50% of all the funding for materials and labor for each school GV constructs.
    • La Unión Centro Lingüístico
      A Language School in Antigua, Guatemala which provides one-on-one intensive language instruction to all GV participants.- Mayan Cultural Arts Center: Las Entraditas-A Mayan womens cooperative in San Antonio Aguas Calientes which dedicated to preservering traditional Mayan culture.

    Guatemala Collaborating Schools

    • ITE (Instituto Técnico)
      ITE administrators, teachers and students of this technical high school collaborate with GV in two ways: students co-design year long practicums and also participate on our International Work Teams.
    • IMMAA (Instituto Mixto Miguel Angel Asturias)
      IMMAA students collaborate on our International Work Teams.
    • IDCA (Instituto Diversificado por Cooperativa Almolonga)
      IDCA students collaborate on our International Work Teams.
